CorrenA Monroe, Owner/Planner

Correna Monroe is the owner of Monroe Media + Events and Monroe By Design. She is a planner by nature and has been planning events from banquets to birthdays, ministry events to corporate events, weddings to weekend retreats for the last 28 years. Wedding planning has become her focus after starting her own business in 2019. She has built and trained a team of coordinators that are just as passionate as her. Details and deadlines are extremely important, but exceeding her clients expectations are of the highest. Correna connects with each client personally and listens with intention to make their vision come to reality. Each beautiful event she plans is sure to create memories that will live on forever.

Amber Turner, Social Media Manager and Lead Coordinator. Amber obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University. We are excited to put her marketing studies to use as our Social Media Manager. With a love for helping to create magical moments, Amber brings enthusiasm, energy, organizational skills and attention to detail to each event. Her passion, dedication and attracting personality is sure to be a match for any client.

Korbyn Ervin, Coordinator. Korbyn brings on the energy! She is a diligent and dedicated member of our team and sure to be wearing a smile the whole time. She loves working with the wedding party and they love working with her too. Not only is she a great coordinator, she is a licensed hair stylist! You may see her slide into that role to help rescue the day from time to time.

Amy Zehring, Event Planner and Decorator. Amy has an extensive background in corporate event planning. Her passion to transform visions to memorable experiences motivates her to bring a seamless execution to any event.

Peyton Monroe, Event Support. Peyton is the muscles behind the team. He is a flight instructor by day for MTSU, and our heights at night! You may find him on a lift or ladder or dropping off glassware and decor. He is a great asset to our team and we sure appreciate him!

Kierra Martens, Lead Coordinator. Kierra is a natural lead coordinator and planner, (and so is her husband). They both grew up in the industry and bring experience, professionalism and great personality to the team! You are sure to have a smooth day with Kierra as your lead and you may even have her husband as an assistant from time to time.
